The targeted dates for the upcoming season are:
- May 30 – Spring on the Trail – G2G – Millbank to Elmira
- Meet at Upper Queen’s Park in Stratford for a 9AM departure. Parking is at the trailhead in Millbank, near the intersection of Road 121 and Road 72 (behind Anna Mae’s). Lunch and a rest break will be in Elmira, which is also the turn-around point. Please bring your own lunch or plan to purchase food in Elmira. Ride distance is approximately 46km in total, on packed gravel trails. Ride Leader is Roland.
- July 11 – St. Thomas to Port Stanley
- This is a combination of rail trail and roadside bike lanes. Lunch will be on the beach in Port Stanley, with a pit stop at Shaw’s Ice Cream. Details to be confirmed. Ride Leaders are Jeanne & Colin Grier
- August 8 – Cambridge to Paris rail trail
- This rail trail runs along the Grand River, with a nice lookout along the way, The Murray Overlook. The trail consists of fine gravel, it is flat and easy to ride with a road bike. Most of the trail is in the shade, so it is a pleasant ride even on a hot day. It is 21 km each way, 42 km total. Ride Leader is Jennifer Nickel
- We meet at the east parking lot in Upper Queens Park at 8:45 A.M. in order to leave at 9 A.M. sharp. We’ll drive to the parking lot at 210 Water St. S. in Cambridge. There is a porta potty at the parking lot. In case this parking lot is full there is another one immediately south (also with a porta potty). We’ll ride to the Lions Park in Paris. There are public toilets in the park. For people taking their lunch, there are benches and tables there. If you want to get your lunch in Paris there are several options.
